A time travelling action adventure
Omensight is a time travelling, action adventure murder-mystery game. You are the Harbinger, a powerful mystical warrior who has witnessed the destruction of the world and must solve the murder of the Godless-Priestess in order to prevent it.
Role and Responsibilities
I joined the Omensight team during the production phase when the core mechanics and storyline were already established. My main tasks included implementing and refining gameplay and polishing the overall experience. This project allowed me to delve deeper into Unreal Engine 4 Blueprint scripting, improving my technical skills. As a small team of only 15 people, I contributed to various aspects of the game.
Level Design

I helped iterate on and maintain the level design of 5 different levels, each had 3 daytime variations and more than 4 branching paths each.

I improved and polished over 20 Encounters and 8 Boss Battles.

I supported the implementation of more than 10 Narrative Events and cinematics.

I assisted with the camera flow and placement throughout all the levels.

Game & System Design
I was in charge of the following systems:

10 Interactive Items and Ingredients (doors, levers, pushable blocks, red barrels, chests, breakables, etc.).

Tutorials.

Companions path following.

Boss "finisher" cutscenes.
